At Apasen, the focus is always on the person. The service offers a wide range of stimulating and enriching activities in a warm, welcoming environment. These activities, including yoga, music therapy, football, and enjoyable day trips, are thoughtfully designed to develop life skills, boost confidence, and improve overall well-being. The aim is to foster independence, encourage social interaction, and provide much-needed respite for carers, while ensuring that each person’s preferences and individual needs are always at the forefront.

Culturally sensitive services are provided that honour different faiths and languages, helping to create a comfortable and respectful environment for everyone. The team at Apasen is made up of a diverse, multicultural staff, reflecting the rich mix of backgrounds in the local community, with team members from diverse heritages.
Through its partnership with the local council and its unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive services, Apasen East London Day Services aims to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and their families.
