Apasen Chief Executive Mahmud Hasan MBE joins a delegation of London based freedom fighters to meet the Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh H.E. Sheikh Hasina during her recent visit in the UK. The delegation vows to continue their supports to uphold the democratic values and prosperity of Bangladesh. The Prime Minister emphasized on the celebrations of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 100th birth anniversary in 2020, as well as the 50th year of the country’s independence. She also requested the freedom fighters to utilize these two special events to brand Bangladesh in a better way to the UK and the world.
While discussing other issues, Mahmud Hasan MBE talks about Apasen International’s Bangladesh project as well as the ‘philanthropic’ work Apasen has been doing. Amongst the veteran freedom fighters, the delegation includes Luqueman Hossain, Enam Haq, Gous Sultan, Mefta Islam, Faizur Rahman Khan, Abdur Rahman and Abul Kashem Khan.
