We are pleased to announce that Apasen has been awarded the Cyber Essentials Certificate of Assurance. Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed scheme that helps organisations protect themselves against the most common cyber attacks.
The certification covers the whole organisation and confirms that, at the time of testing, our ICT defences were assessed as satisfactory against commodity-based cyber attacks. It was assessed by IAP Consulting, a certification body of the scheme, and is valid for 12 months, with recertification due on 21 October 2027.
At Apasen we hold a great deal of personal information about the people we support, our staff and our partners. This certification reflects our continued commitment to keeping that information safe and to maintaining the trust placed in us by our community.
